Travyara.com is operated by Hydra Travels Inc., an independent travel agency and is NOT an airline, rail operator, cruise line, or any other carrier. Travyara.com is accredited by the Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC), Accreditation Number 45572424. Cancellation eligibility and refund amounts are governed by the fare rules of the ticketed airline — not by Travyara.com. Travyara.com acts solely as an agent and intermediary in facilitating cancellations and refund requests on the passenger's behalf.
SECTION 01:- Introduction & Scope of This Policy
This Cancellation and Refund Policy governs all requests for cancellation, refund, or itinerary abandonment made in connection with bookings facilitated through Travyara.com (operated by Hydra Travels Inc.). This policy applies to all airline tickets, whether booked online at www.travyara.com, via our telephone reservation lines, or through a Travyara.com travel advisor.
As an independent travel agency, Travyara.com's role in the cancellation process is that of an intermediary: we submit cancellation and refund requests to the relevant airline or carrier on the passenger's behalf, track the status of such requests, and communicate outcomes to the passenger. Travyara.com does not control the airline's refund determination, the amount refunded, or the timeline of refund disbursement.
By completing a booking through Travyara.com, each passenger agrees to the terms of this policy and acknowledges that refund eligibility is determined exclusively by the applicable airline's fare rules, conditions of carriage, and internal policies, which may vary significantly by carrier, route, fare class, and ticket type.
Travyara.com charges a separate administrative service fee for processing cancellations. This fee is charged in addition to any penalty imposed by the airline and is non-refundable once the cancellation has been submitted. Full details are set out in Section 03.
SECTION 02:- 24-Hour Risk-Free Cancellation (DOT Regulation)
In accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations governing airline ticket sales, Travyara.com provides a 24-hour risk-free cancellation window for eligible bookings. The following conditions must be met for a booking to qualify under this provision:
- The booking must have been made at least 7 calendar days prior to the scheduled departure date of the first flight.
- The cancellation request must be received by Travyara.com within 24 hours of the original booking confirmation time.
- The 24-hour window is measured from the timestamp of the booking confirmation email, not from the time of initial search or payment entry.
- The right applies to all fare types, including non-refundable and basic economy fares.
- Travyara.com's administrative service fee is fully waived for eligible 24-hour risk-free cancellations.
Contact Travyara.com via phone or email within 24 hours of booking. Provide your booking confirmation number, passenger name(s), and flight details. Travyara.com will confirm eligibility, waive all service fees, and initiate the void or refund request immediately. Funds are typically returned to the original payment method within 5–7 business days, subject to the passenger's bank processing time.
SECTION 03:- Cancellation After the 24-Hour Window — Fare-Type Matrix
After the 24-hour risk-free period expires, the passenger's right to cancel and the extent of any refund are governed entirely by the fare rules attached to the purchased ticket. SECTION 04 Travyara.com Cancellation Service Fee Schedule
In addition to any airline-imposed cancellation penalties, Travyara.com charges a separate administrative service fee to cover the cost of processing your cancellation request. This fee compensates Travyara.com for agent labor, GDS system transactions, airline communications, and refund tracking. The fee is assessed per passenger and is non-refundable once processing has commenced, regardless of the outcome of the airline's refund determination.

Travyara.com's cancellation service fee will be disclosed to the passenger before any cancellation is processed. Travyara.com will obtain explicit verbal or written consent before charging any fee. The fee is charged to the original payment method on file. You will receive an itemized receipt confirming all charges applied.
SECTION 05 Airline-Imposed Cancellation Penalties (Separate & Additional)
Airline cancellation penalties are separate from Travyara.com's service fees. They are set exclusively by the operating carrier based on fare class, route, and the specific conditions attached to the purchased ticket. Travyara.com has no authority to waive, reduce, or negotiate airline-imposed penalties on the passenger's behalf.
The table below provides estimated cancellation penalty ranges by carrier type. These figures are for reference only. Passengers should verify current penalty amounts directly with the airline prior to requesting cancellation.

SECTION 06 Refund Processing — Timeline & Method
Travyara.com processes all refund requests as promptly as possible. However, the actual timeline for a refund to appear in a passenger's account is dependent on several factors outside Travyara.com's control, including the airline's internal processing time, the ARC settlement cycle, and the passenger's bank or card issuer's processing schedule.

6.1 Refund Method
All refunds are returned to the original form of payment used at the time of booking. Travyara.com does not issue cash refunds or refunds to alternative payment methods except in exceptional circumstances approved in writing by a Travyara.com supervisor. Where an airline issues a travel voucher or future travel credit in lieu of a monetary refund, the terms and validity of such voucher are governed solely by the airline.
6.2 Partial Refunds
Where a ticket is only partially refundable, Travyara.com will provide the passenger with a detailed written breakdown of the refundable and non-refundable components before processing. The breakdown will itemize the base fare, taxes, airline penalty, Travyara.com service fee, and the net refund amount.
6.3 Credit Card Chargebacks
Passengers are advised that initiating a credit card chargeback in lieu of requesting a refund through Travyara.com may result in the permanent forfeiture of any refund entitlement and the suspension of the passenger's Travyara.com account. All refund disputes should be submitted to Travyara.com directly in the first instance. See Section 11 for dispute procedures.
SECTION 07 How to Request a Cancellation
Passengers may initiate a cancellation request through any of the following channels. Please have your booking confirmation number, passenger name(s), and travel dates ready before contacting Travyara.com.
- Online Self-Service — Log in to your account at www.travyara.com and navigate to 'My Bookings.' Select the booking you wish to cancel and click 'Request Cancellation.' Follow the on-screen prompts to review applicable fees and confirm.
- Phone — Call Travyara.com's 24/7 reservation line (available on our website). A travel advisor will verify your identity, review the applicable fare rules and fees, and obtain your consent before processing.
- Email — Submit your cancellation request in writing to support@travyara.com. Include your booking reference number, passenger name(s), flight details, and reason for cancellation. Travyara.com will respond within 4–6 business hours.
- Fee Disclosure & Consent — Before any cancellation is processed, Travyara.com will provide an itemized breakdown of all fees (Travyara.com service fee + estimated airline penalty + net refund estimate). Your explicit consent is required before proceeding.
- Confirmation & Tracking — Upon processing, you will receive a cancellation confirmation email with a reference number. Use this reference to track the status of your refund. Travyara.com will notify you by email when the refund has been issued by the airline.
SECTION 08 Airline-Initiated Cancellations & Involuntary Disruptions
When an airline cancels a flight, significantly changes its schedule, or otherwise fails to operate a booked service, the passenger's rights are governed by DOT regulations (for U.S. domestic and international flights operated by U.S. carriers) and, where applicable, EU Regulation 261/2004 (for flights departing from EU airports).
8.1 Passenger Rights in Airline-Initiated Cancellations
- The passenger is generally entitled to a full refund of the ticket price, including all taxes and fees, when an airline cancels a flight.
- Travyara.com will waive its service fee in full for all refunds resulting from airline-initiated cancellations or schedule changes of more than 4 hours.
- Travyara.com will contact the airline on the passenger's behalf and submit the refund claim through ARC settlement channels.
- Airline refund timelines for involuntary cancellations typically range from 7 to 30 business days, depending on the carrier.
- Travyara.com is not liable for delays in refund processing attributable solely to the airline's internal procedures.
8.2 Schedule Changes (Significant)
A schedule change is considered significant where the airline adjusts the departure or arrival time by more than 4 hours, changes the origin or destination airport, or adds one or more unplanned stopovers. In such cases, the passenger may elect to (a) accept the new schedule, (b) request an alternative routing at no additional fare cost, or (c) cancel for a full refund. Travyara.com will facilitate whichever option the passenger chooses at no additional service charge.
8.3 Force Majeure
Travyara.com is not responsible for cancellations or disruptions resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemic, labor disputes, government orders, or extreme weather. In such cases, refund eligibility remains governed by the airline's fare rules and applicable law.
SECTION 09 Taxes, Airport Fees & Non-Refundable Charges
The total amount paid for a ticket typically includes the base fare and a variety of government-imposed taxes, airport facility charges, security fees, and other mandatory levies. The refundability of these components is determined by the relevant taxing authority and airline, not by Travyara.com. SECTION 10 Fee Waiver Conditions
Travyara.com may waive its cancellation service fee in the following circumstances. A waiver of Travyara.com's fee does not affect any airline-imposed penalty, which remains the passenger's sole responsibility. Fee waiver determinations are at Travyara.com's sole discretion and are final.

SECTION 11 General Terms, Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
11.1 Non-Refundability of Service Fees
All Travyara.com cancellation service fees are non-refundable once the cancellation request has been submitted to the airline. This applies regardless of whether the airline grants or denies the refund, and regardless of the ultimate refund amount received.
11.2 Travel Insurance Recommendation
Travyara.com strongly recommends that all passengers purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to protect against unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, trip interruptions, and other unforeseen events. Travel insurance may provide coverage beyond what airline fare rules permit, including compensation for non-refundable fares. Please contact Travyara.com's support team at the time of booking for information on available travel protection options.
11.3 Group Bookings
Cancellations involving group bookings of 10 or more passengers are governed by separate group contract terms agreed at the time of booking. Group cancellation fees and refund timelines differ from standard individual passenger policies. Please contact Travyara.com's group desk for specific guidance.
11.4 Policy Modifications
Travyara.com reserves the right to amend or update this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The policy in effect at the time of the cancellation request shall apply. Passengers are encouraged to review the current policy before submitting any cancellation request.
11.5 Dispute Resolution
Any billing dispute regarding Travyara.com's service fees must be submitted in writing to support@travyara.com within 30 calendar days of the charge. Travyara.com will review the dispute and respond within 10 business days. Disputes relating to airline-imposed penalties or refund amounts must be directed to the applicable airline. Travyara.com will provide reasonable assistance in such disputes but cannot guarantee any particular outcome.
11.6 Prohibition on Chargebacks
Passengers agree not to initiate a credit card chargeback or payment dispute with their card issuer in relation to Travyara.com's service fee without first exhausting Travyara.com's internal dispute resolution process. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension and recovery of associated costs.
11.7 Governing Law
This Cancellation and Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hydra Travels Inc. is registered. All disputes arising under or in connection with this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
