These activities consume agent labor, system resources, and operational overhead that are not covered by the original booking transaction.
Post-ticketing service fees are the charges Travyara.com imposes to recover these costs. They are non-negotiable in standard circumstances and are payable regardless of whether the underlying airline ultimately grants the requested change. By completing a booking through Travyara.com, the passenger acknowledges and accepts these terms.
These fees apply to all bookings made via Travyara.com, our affiliated phone reservation lines, and any booking facilitated by a Travyara.com travel advisor.

When a passenger requests a departure or return date modification after ticket issuance, Travyara.com must access the GDS record, evaluate fare availability under new segments, re-price the itinerary, coordinate with the airline's ticketing desk, and reissue the ticket electronically. This process is labor-intensive and may involve multiple exchanges with the carrier. Travyara.com's service fee of $35 (Domestic) or $75 (International) compensates for this work and is charged irrespective of the airline's own change fee.
3.2 Name Corrections and Changes
Minor Corrections involve typographical errors of three characters or fewer (e.g., "Jon" corrected to "John"). These are processed as correction records within the GDS and typically do not require ticket reissuance, though airline approval is still required.
Major Name Changes — including full first or last name changes, additions or removals of middle names, or corrections exceeding three characters — require direct airline authorization and may necessitate full ticket reissuance or a new purchase. Not all airlines permit name changes after ticketing, and Travyara.com cannot guarantee approval. The fee is charged upon submission of the request, not upon approval.
3.3 Cancellations and Refund Processing
Travyara.com's cancellation and refund service fee covers the submission of a refund request to the airline, tracking refund status through ARC settlement systems, and communicating the outcome to the passenger. The actual refund — if eligible under the fare rules — is issued by the airline to Travyara.com and remitted to the original payment method. Typical airline refund timelines range from 7 to 30 business days after approval. Travyara.com's service fee is non-refundable once the request has been submitted.
3.4 Non-Refundable Fares — Tax Recovery
Many airlines retain the base fare on non-refundable tickets but are required by law (and DOT regulations) to refund government-imposed taxes and airport fees. Travyara.com can submit a tax-only refund request on the passenger's behalf for a reduced administrative fee. Recovery is not guaranteed and depends on the airline and applicable tax categories.
3.5 Same-Day Void Policy
If a passenger contacts Travyara.com within four (4) hours of ticket issuance and prior to the scheduled departure date, and the airline permits a same-day void under its own policy, Travyara.com will process the void at no service charge. The airline's own void and refund policy governs ultimate eligibility. This zero-fee window is a courtesy, not a guaranteed right.
3.6 Itinerary Reconstruction
In the event of a missed connection, involuntary schedule disruption, or passenger-requested emergency rebooking, Travyara.com agents will work to reconstruct a viable alternative itinerary, which may involve multi-segment rebooking across one or more airlines. This service carries a higher fee given the complexity and urgency of the task.
SECTION 04 Airline-Imposed Change Fees (Separate & Additional)
The fees set out in Section 02 are Travyara.com's administrative charges only. Airlines separately assess their own change, cancellation, and reissuance fees based on the fare class, ticket conditions, and route. The table below provides estimated ranges for reference. - Fee Disclosure & Itemization — Before any action is taken, Travyara.com provides the passenger with a written or verbal itemized breakdown of all applicable service fees and estimated airline fees. No charges are initiated without this disclosure.
- Passenger Authorization — Travyara.com obtains the passenger's explicit verbal or written consent to proceed and to charge the disclosed fees to the original payment method on file.
- Processing & Confirmation — Upon consent, Travyara.com processes the request through its accredited GDS channels. The passenger receives a confirmation email reflecting the updated itinerary and a receipt of all charges.
- Fee Collection — Travyara.com's service fee is charged immediately upon completion of the service. Airline fees and fare differences are collected concurrently where applicable. All fees are non-refundable once the service has been performed.
SECTION 06 Waiver of Post-Ticketing Service Fees
Travyara.com may, at its sole discretion, waive its service fees in the following limited circumstances. Waiver of Travyara.com's service fee does not waive or affect any airline-imposed fee, which remains the passenger's responsibility.

7.4 Policy Modifications

7.5 Dispute Resolution
